Friends and followers of Graven Feather will know that last December Pam gave up the 906 Queen W location; in order to have a more nomadic format for the gallery and studio. So getting back into the venue was a perfect for an In The Round exhibit. This exhibit marks the fifth annual In The Round and it was great to see the community that has developed around this event. The show was an exhibit of a wide variety of work. The walls were decorated with vivid landscapes, hand beaded disco balls, comics, life drawings, sewn collages, abstract studies, skunks playing ping pong, light up starry nights and so many other interesting developments. All the work being created on a 6" wooden round served not to limit the artists but appeared to set their work free. The opening reception was very well attended and many pieces were being sold right off the walls. We wanted to share the exhibition catalogue and gallery photos but also our event photos showing the smiling faces that visited our opening reception.
Enjoy these photos and remember you can post your own photos of the exhibit with the hashtag #intheround2017.
